I just read a post about the restaurant in the basement of the Pat hotel. Karz Cafe.. I remember going there and having an order of piston rings served in a hub cap, and to drink I had a liter of 10W30 from a oil jug shaped container. Anyone have any memories of that place?
I remember eating hamburgers and fries from the hub caps….
Sure do I ate at that place Every Monday for 12 years, when I was out delivering Lotto tickets,and magizines. I would love to have some of those artifacts they had in the place, some would be worth a small fortune today.
It seemed like a real gathering place in the morning as everyone got to know the regulars.
That sounds like a real cozy place, neat. Who knows, maybe some of you CMT members in Sask have met each other during that time …
