i went to the casino last night with a fellow cmt member (who shall remain nameless) and i watched him get a 175% return on his investment… nice hit buddy. we both walked out with more than we went in with.

wouldn't happen to be the same CMT member whose entry you happened to hit, ostensibly a scant 2 1/2 hours after he first entered it? it's grand when casinos pay off in 5s…. sorta increases the chances if that's all you ever spend in there. gotta love the natural flow of money.
… nice hit buddy
"hit buddy" indeed…
look at what i entered yesterday and today they were not all fives they were 20's 10's and 5's. tell me rudyk is the glass half empty or half full?
BC, I think you need to re-read the message by Rudy.
I think the Casino is a great place to turn over your money, but Rudy was saying you gave your buddy a hit, by exchanging money.
Congratulations to your win BC and the fellow cmt member. Good for you guys, I bet you celebrated your big win afterwards :)
BC translated:

well, sir, i might do that very thing if the option were only open to me. some still choose to conceal their entries from scrutiny. that is, indeed, their choice and i respect that. so i guess i won't be able to pursue your directive.
BC further meandered:
tell me rudyk is the glass half empty or half full?
i choose to look at it neither way but rather ask, who's been drinking out of my glass???! :) (…and, are refills free?…)
cheers to you, BC!
Rudyk I seldom refuse requests to see my info but like to be asked before someone goes through my stuff. I have opened the door for you feel free to look I will close it again in a few days. Now the hit you mentioned was already taken Care of after I spoke to the other party concerned I made a request to DR. to have that hit removed from our stats and sent to hit heaven. You just seemed like the half empty type of guy but I did like your answer.
please private message me when your done looking at my information so I can lock up after your Gone. BY THE WAY RUDYK WHEN A PERSON AT THE CASINO WINS A BIG POT OR HAND IT IS COMMON TO TELL THEM NICE HIT. I TAKE IT YOU DO NOT GO TO THE CASINO'S ALL THAT OFTEN.
why yes we did he bought the drinks and we talked about the unmarked bills we used in the machine and our lists we made before we used the bills. then we went home and logged in our lists. was a great night so there are another pile of stealth bills out there.
we involved know what happened and have taken steps to have the error corrected. mr. lord comedy this is the second message in the forums in the past few weeks that you for some reason have assumed things incorrectly… maybe you would like to use private message next time to ask your questions in private so as not to show how foolish you are in the public forums. congrats on getting to page one enjoy it while your here.
BC now I think you need to reread my message.
I was saying Rudy was pointing out how the bills got exchanged and a hit took place.
I actually go to the casino & exchange money a fair bit, but at Casino Regina the money they take from me does not go into circulation again for a couple days.
It goes into the box, at the blackjack table. gets counted the next day. Then goes into their vault for circulation the day after that.
I was actually wondering how you could have gotten your friends $5 bill to hit it the same night, If you Never exchanged Serial numbers.
PS. As I was saying I go to the casino a fair bit. I don't ever remember someone saying nice hit about a win.
I've always called it a GOOD INVESTMENT or a BAD INVESTMENT.
As the Casino is just like the STOCK MARKET.
First off if we did exchange bills I would have also got a hit. Second good hit is used all the time and the term when you want a card is hit me (most players just tap the table OR SWEEP TOWARDS THEMSELF TO RECEIVE A CARD or THEY brush across the cards to pass). Money I play at the tables does stay out of circulation for a period of time. He happened to change marked bills at the cash for crisp bills and he wrote them on a list how a bill I got for my winnings happened onto his list is strange but when I hit the bill I talked to him about it and asked DR. to remove the hit. Ss it was an unstamped bill I had no idea he had logged it. Of course there are a couple of cynical CMT members around so they think the worst. If your so incredulous then that is your problem not ours. Maybe stop playing the dollar tables and play the $25.00 tables and you will LEARN what high rollers say not what wannabies say.
I actually play the $10 table. and how you explained it & used it isn't they way you explained it in the 2nd post.
Yes for taking 1 good card people say good hit. I actually usually ignore it, cause really it is the luck of the draw.
How you explained & used good hit.. was a winning of money over the extent of a night. Which is what I call a good investment. You buy in with you $100 or $200 .. and take out $300 or $400 if your lucky.
If you bought in with your $100 and take home nothing.. Again I call it a bad investment.
1 hand of blackjack is not an investment…
PS.. most of those people who play at the $25 table aren't good players they just have more money to spend.
In Canada with the limits as they are most GOOD players & card counters play at the $10 table.
Leave the $5 & $25 tables for beginners & people who think they know how to play.
..
test BC
can you tell me the correct play for
A: ace-7 vs dealer 10 ?
B: Pair 9 vs dealer 8 ?
C: ace-7 vs dealer 4 ?
Edit note:
If anyone else other than BC want to answer please email me or private message me.
These are the 3 biggest misconceptions plays people Scoff at. I can show proof of the proper play & explain it.
Letter C is actually has more than 1 answer depending on if you count cards & how good you are. The other 2 doesn't really matter on the card count.

you may close up your information any time you like. my point in this, and i should know better to be subtle, is that when one hides their information, it simply invites skepticism. in particular, when one is "competitive", it behooves them to be open to scrutiny. for example, if you are not in sanctioned sporting events, no one cares if you are taking steroids. however, if you want to go to the olympics, you'd better be prepared to pee in a bottle. if it helps the competetive amongst us, then consider the open profile in that fashion. :)
you also said:
BY THE WAY RUDYK WHEN A PERSON AT THE CASINO WINS A BIG POT OR HAND IT IS COMMON TO TELL THEM NICE HIT.
that, i knew. i was simply making use of the dubious punctuation in your original post to make a point. again, i find myself having to explain. :)
he also said:
I TAKE IT YOU DO NOT GO TO THE CASINO'S ALL THAT OFTEN.
never been there :)
:) BC you are right for the 1st 2
soft 18 vs a dealer 4, 5 or 6 is a double down.
with a dealer bust card being 4 dealer busts nearly 65% of the time. 5 & 6 are a little higher
In the long run it doesn't matter what card you pull you are making money.
Even so, there are 7 cards out of 13 that keep you hand the same or make it better.
that is also above 50%
so i was also right on the 3rd. if your going on the bust factor but i agree you could Take a card as does not matter what it would be you would not bust. I have found however to take the card at times upsets fellow players at the table if that card could of or would have aided their hand so if I have enough to beat the dealer then so be it. this could also play the other way that if I took the card and set up the other players hands to be winners they would be happy. That is why I like to play on the end of the deal.
BC are you playing to make them money & lose money yourself ?? or are you playing to make money yourself?
Mathmatically it is the right play. therefore if they get angry they don't know the game as well as they should.
I play for myself.
i seldom lose money at the tables (ya right) i play more of the other games as i like 35 to 1 payouts.
35 - 1 payouts… you mean roulette?
I know roulette isn't a cheap game to play either, but if you are winning you are winning BIG
As for blackjack.
it is the 1 game it doesn't matter how good you are, what you know, how you play, As long as you don't bust. No matter who you are it is the luck of the cards coming out of the shoe that determines if you win or lose. I just like to increase my odds by playing the best strategy & occasionally counting cards.
I admit I am not the best card counter, but it isn't as difficult as most people think it is.
Most people think card counting is used to predict the cards. You can't predict 1 out of 312 cards. You just use that knowledge of the cards to improve your odds of winning. such that do you really wanna take a card when you have 16 vs a dealer 10. that is a 50% guess. card counting tells you hit / stand.
card counting also tells you when to increase your bet by the odds of getting more high cards, gotta remember the dealer has a better chance of those high cards to, but more high cards are the players advangtage.
