The bank that my boss deals with said they had to take all the bills that i stamped on out of circulation too.

I just assumed it was a load of crap!

I find that hard to believe because my sister worked at a bank (in Kindersley nonetheless) and they were very careful about which bills they pulled because if they sent them for destruction and they weren't "broken" enough the bank was fined, charged, billed. I don't know the term, but they had to pay if they were pulling bills that weren't worn out.

CJ is right. We had a user here last summer that worked at the centre where the bills were sorted. he/she said that they do not pull a bill just because of a stamp. On a bad day they might, but not normally.

So I ignored the comment. It was $100 bill and in good condition.

Whatever the reason, I've seen worse bills with everything from bingo dabs to highlighter marks on them. THey are still in circulation. These bankers don't have a sense opf humour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
