Top 10 Movers list.

I know it has been discussed b4, but it was discussed in a different matter. I don't mean to change the scoring ladder.
I think it would be interesting in have a top 10 for the last 30 ( 60 or 90 ) days.
A main reason I think it is a good idea, It takes a long time to enter enuff bills to catch up to Jake, Idjit, BC, Hoggs. It takes even longer to catch up in hits.

Top 10 movers list would be like a "What have you done for me recently list".
For those who are interested in the competition of the site. This would greatly increase the competitive side of the site. For people who have no chance in being in the top 10 in the next 10 years, they may not reach #1 on this list, but may have a chance at being in the top 10.

The system is just fine the way it is. Anyone who works on the site hard enough can make it to page one in less than a year and into top ten. For anyone who watches the site it is easy to see who the movers are without another list. The movers will get their just reward in time. The people in the top ten worked hard to get their spot and would fill any new list brought out. We did not get to the top ten by not keeping active nor do we stay on the top ten if we slack off. DR already has given everyone a chance to be on page one with the random names at the bottom of page one. Discussed in any manner it is still a bad idea.

A Recent Top 10 is in the list of future modifications.

Probably won't be any time soon, but it IS contemplated.

Not just anyone who works hard on the site can make it to page one in a year. Without owning a company & paying employee's in cash. ( $5 bills like you BC ) it is tough to have a huge cash flow.
If everyone that has been a member returned & entered just 1 bill a day. Most users would fall down the list a fair bit. As for being able to see who the movers are, You have to watch the bills entered & the hits received list pretty closely.
With the weekly report of who gets how many hits & bills entered it is clear that some people in the top 10 don't enter as many bills as they used to, or have accumilated over a long period of time. Hits on that matter are also based a little bit on luck. Even with Jake & BC being on the weekly lists for most bills entered this can change the hits list a little.

There is no such thing as a BAD idea. Just a person with a CLOSED mind.
I still think you need to read & think before you type BC.
You may not like the idea, but what you said to say my idea is bad are not valid if you really look at the stats.

Not everyone looks at all the different lists enuff to see what they might if we had a Top 10 Movers list. & even if they do. They only compair themselves to the couple people around them. To calculate the recent scoring differences isn't really that easy without knowing how to calculate your exact score.

I give my personal opinion and you are free to agree or disagree. My personal opinion is we do not need the list which you mentioned and that the site is a wonderful place where we can all share the enjoyment of money tracking. My make up of bills on this site is mixed with what I feel are the proper ratio to supply me with many hits and are the bills that travel the most. Startegy factors into how I live my life every day. The fact I own a business has very little to do with where I stand in this site in fact I have been entering very few bills in the past few weeks to try and get my hit % up.

I wasn't attacking you, I was using the fact you have so many bill out in a year cause you have a business..
Do you really think the average person can enter 30,000 bills like you have in the past year & a bit?
Even if I got almost all my money in $5 bill I wouldn't be close to entering that many.
I know there is a cliche about there is no such thing as a bad idea. just a … but I can't remember exactly what it is.. that comment of mine was just saying you should never call an idea bad. As Rudy said it is incredibly rude and inconsiderate.

hey you guys if we are going to have a thread like the last one………duh PLAY NICE……………Dustan you are my teammate and we have met and you a really nice person. I have not met BACKCOLLECTOR yet. We have had several fun and competitive private chats and I like him too. I hope this thread does not last as long as the last one cause it really is a waste on forum. So the long and the short of it is enjoy the site.

If we all lived in Saskatoon (just a good example folks) and entered maximum bills each day it might happen. I've been over a year and a half working darn hard at it and look where I am in the standings. I haven't even got a hit kid yet. Why is it so important to be in the top 10 list? I just enjoy entering my bills and when I get a hit, I get all exited. I also enjoy the forum to see how everybody is doing and give support (and getting some back). It is just fine the way dr has set up the program. Even the CMT score is not that important. It doesn't mean anything to me except that the points accumulate. Of course the longer you are a member, the more points you have. Come on, be happy guys :)

Maybe the Weekly Activity Report should be posted on this site. It has the weekly CMT Score, Hits, and Bills Entered.

The weekly activity report doesn't tell you alot.. It just goes to the 10 people.
The REAL Solution. Which is my idea. As Pooga said IS in the works.

Well after wading through the crap, I like the idea.

To add to it, I think it would be nice to be able to set up your profile to track different stats, ie I occasionaly try to follow the people who are close to me to see who I'm passing and who is passing me in bills entered and hits recieved.
