I'm going to be up in Saskatoon next week and I'm wondering if someone could recommend a good place to have supper.

The Cave on 8th Street is amazing.. :)
– from Regina… but I have eaten there.. and it is …
well I was Impressed.
I have never had a bad meal there either.
Thanks for the suggestions. I've eaten there in the past also. Food was great. I was hoping to find a place that I haven't been to before. There used to be a Cajun restaurant in Saskatoon (can't remember the name) but I think it closed down. Anyone know for sure?
I think the restaurant you are thinking of was named Sawyer's. It was located on 8th St and McKercher and it is now a Tomas Cooks.
I used to eat ONLY at the Birdcage whenever I was passing through Saskatoon in the 80's. Even though I only went there every 3 or 4 weeks, I was always shown to the same booth no matter who seated me.
The name was changed to The Cage a few years ago. Haven't been in Saskatoon in the daylight hours for a few years, either, so I don't know if it's still there after all these years.
The Cajun place was Crawdaddy's. Shut down a while ago.
What kind of place are you looking for?
Saskatoon Asian - 2nd Ave. - best oriental in town.
The Cave, Athena, Mano's - regular Greek eateries.
The Victorian, Mr. Rizo's - fine dining.
Aroma's - haute cuisine
Taverna - Best true Italian
2nd Ave Grill - best all around
Genesis - best Chinese
Just a few other suggestions
That Asian one sounds interesting. Where abouts on 2nd Ave is it?
Saskatoon Asian, south east corner of 2nd Ave and 22nd Street, building south of the bank, second floor.
What no Satellite image?
Just kidding. :)
I think it might have been Crawdaddys. But they in fact did close some time ago….
Fuddruckers is always good…..
Fuddruckers is a regular stop for me.. considering we don't have one in Regina anymore.
