Is there a possibility that a problem may arise if I mark my bills during work and then log them in when I come home? Say if someone logs one of my bills as a hit before I get home to enter that bills info?

And as a side note, what happens if the bill we enter is counterfit and we dont know it. (cause obviously i have neither the resources nor desire to enter counterfit bills in the first place)i suppose that wouldnt effect us, or would it…hmmm, just a little thought.

1) That is a risk of marking bills at work. I know Idjit has missed at least one hit that way. Alot of people say to back the time to when you had the bill, but I and others that let bills get away before entering them don't change the time when we enter them. We try to beat the bill to a computer and if we miss the hit, we accept it as the concequences of the way we enter bills.

2) As for counterfit bills, we have discussed different ideas about how a notice could be placed on the site when there are counterfit bills out there, but until someone actually gets and enters one, I don't think much will be done.

Well thats good to know, cause I was thinking today that maybe that would be cheating. Considering im not in 'possesion' of the bill. But since it seems that others do it that way too, then its ok huh? Well that might help me alot then, cause god knows I'm not getting any money these days!!! At least none that stays in my pocket for more than 5 minutes.

I have had a counterfit bill, and i entered it on the site, I wrote in the info box that it was a counterfit bill, then i took the bill to the police, no wait I still have it, the bastards at work who accepted it still havnt given me their statements, the police wont do anything till i get their statements, oh well it was a just a good copy from a computer, but not good enough for the guy to get away without them getting his licence plate # first.

thats got to be the worst sentance ever (grammer).

I got 4 counterfiet pennies today I think from McDonalds.. 2 were nearly perfect 1969, the other 2 near mint also 1970. The picture looks different than the other (size wise) also the date on the penny looks a little oversized! What should I do, I mean they're just pennies…

R U sure they are counterfeit? It costs more than a penny to mint a penny, so it wouldn't be to bright to counterfeit them.

OK dug into the piggy bank and am looking at a 1963 and 1964 penny and comparing it to a 1998 penny. The 1960's pennies dates are larger, heavier (and thicker) so the maple leaves stand out more. Hope that helps.

And hey, if they are still in good condition throw them in your piggy bank, maybe some day they'll be worth 2 cents :)
