Just to bring this thread to everyones attention-
The Thread:
I have arranged for some food (coutesy of the company I work for):
Burger buns, weiner buns.
Burgers and Hot dogs
Mustard, relish, catsup, barbeque sauce, cheese slices.
Pop: cola, diet cola, lemon/lime, Root beer, ginger ale(if your favorite is not here, let me know)
Potatoe chips (various flavours)
marshmellows (for roasting)
If y'all want are interested in something not on this list, send me a private mail, and I'll let you know if it's within the realm of possibility. Note: any suggestions of free beer should be sent to Pooga:)
Now lookit: there's no reason why you can't come for a day of fun: the foods taken care of, and all you have to do is get there. Even if something happens to me again this year (like the last two) the food will still be there. We should have everything we need to have a great time so make a commitment!
Just a few questions:
Do we have confirmation on the date and location?
Does this mean my dividend will be lower this year?
Who's picking me up?
Hopefully this will be more than just Saskatoon users & a couple of others. See you there.
According to some replies to that thread Craik was a favorite. My vote is for Craik also.
We are hoping that you make it this year Idjit. Count me in for June 5 and my vote is for Craik.
If anyone from the south needs a ride private message me and we can arrange something. The more the merrier.
Sounds great! I think June 5th was the date at Craik. I am still tenatively in, depends on work schedules. Craik is a great location and not all that long of a drive from S'toon…
…for those of you who don't get this bocce thing…
What the heck is Bocce…
I haven't played it, so I needed to do some research. From what I've heard, the Craik version utilizes a highly modified bocce court that barely resembles the real thing.
I'll be there, and I'll be bringing my balls, and some beer.
