Anyone know if you get points for processing a hit bill? Just wondering what the incentive would be without it? Who wants to give points to another player, if they themselves are not rewarded. To be honest I could give a Sh*t but I just hope if cdn-money.com users get my bills they will enter them.

While we're at it, why not have the found MARKED bill that new users enter, why not have it count too?

Bonus points for signing up rather than just submitting anonymously would also be quite an incentive.

Anon user should have a CMT scoring rank. Also hit % rank, etc. It would be fun.

The site is about tracking paper money. The system works on the notion that you should enter all bills (even if they have been marked) in the same way that you would expect other users to enter in all the bills they get. If you don't enter in money because you don't want someone else to get a higher score, then you are here at this site for the wrong reasons. The idea is to have fun tracking money, without the need to have incentives.

I'm with DR. I don't get to mark bills at the store anymore, but when I see someone else's marked bills in the till, I make sure I copy down the serial # so I can see where it came from. I think the competitive part of this site is to encourage entering bills, not to be tops on some list.

Because it's fun, in the same way that even in my recreational hockey league we still keep score in games. It doesn't really matter to our team whether we win individual games or how we do in the standings overall at the end of the year. But we keep score because it adds to the fun.

I agree with dr on that. I'm really doing bad in the CMT score and ranking, but I don't leave. I like this site and enjoy it's contents. Plus its really fun.

Co-worker whining to the boss; boss falling for workplace politics; Idjit tired of games- not going to participate in petty, small, mean-spirited political BS. Get the idea? I'll work on alternate methods.

I am glad to know that people will enter bills for "fun's" sake. I find this site extremely interesting, though my only "hitted" bill has hit once in my town and once in the town beside me, anyways…thanks.
