There are many different personalities on this site. We are all to some extent the product of our experiences. Please try to be tolerant of individuals who may not share your particular viewpoint, even when their way of expressing that may seem a bit harsh.

I've found a lot of these type of stories, and have been sent quite a few too. I like 'em- even if they are fiction, they are just as important to share because they make us think about what is really important in life. Far better to contemplate this, say I, than most of the tripe written in the newspaper, especially when an election is imminent- what is the greater fiction?

I agree that the stories are thought provoking and/or heart rendering. I just object when they begin, "This is a true story…"
