For those coffee club regulars that meet at the Olympia…

On of my customers at the Liquor Store today was Hennie, our former regular waitress. She said she was 'let go' because she had told a large group (not us) that they could add a tip to the bill if they desired…and she failed to have the boss tell the customers - I guess it wasn't up to her - but if that is what happened, it sounds like sour grapes on behalf of the boss. Anyways, she said she is starting on 01 June at Smitty's on Circle Dr.

Well you know, Smitty's have a couple "early morning" (til 11am) breakfast specials. Eggs, sausage or bacon, toast & hashbrowns, or pancakes + the StarPhoenix for $3.95 or a "wake up…" which is Eggs, sausage AND bacon, toast & hashbrowns, or pancakes + small orange juice for $4.99. Those are better deals than the Olympia anyway. Too bad they don't have a downtown location.
