Thank you Idjit for sending the food. Chips and pop galore, 48 burgers, 36 burger buns, 24 cheese slices, 24 weiners and 36 weiner buns and assorted condiments.
We're ingenious, we used split wood for flippers, bun cutter and bbq sauce spreader.
In attendance are: DrJD, Pooga, Mrs. Pooga, BDK, Mrs BDK, Shewolf and smallest cub, Wally69me, Phoenixflairs, CJ, Haywoodja, Joycer + 1, LordComedy, Suzuki, Mrs Suzuki, Daughter & Grandson, Sarge, kayfbee, plus 2 dogs.
We also had two helpers playing Bocce.

I was going to try to get there this year but have 3 boy chasing granddaughters here and one other who at age 5 has not started that crap yet.
sorry i missed the cook out had to do work that was not done during my trip to ontario. as idjit knows when no one else will work the boss has to step in and hold the fort. hope a good time was had by all i really wanted to be there to meet lc and see if he abd i had the same opinions after a face to face. j.d. promised to eat my share of the food :-) did you have a 50/50 draw ? who won ? want to hear all the bocce news did the dogs steal the game pieces?

Last years Pooga left a had behind on the way home.
This year while playing bocce I hung up my sunglasses on a tree.
Oh well $3 pair of sunglasses.
Yes, Joycer had nice buns. And we should all thank her for sharing them with us.
Lost at bocce again, but that's because the High Command (Mrs Pooga) only played one game with me.
Our budding tour guide did a marvelous job, but I think that her rates were a bit much.
Not complaining Idjit, but matching the numbers of burgers to buns would have made life safer. Do you know how dangerous it is trying to shove a hot hamburger patty into a weiner bun?

And we were very impressed with the golf course! And no Sarge, we don't carry the cell phone on the course. You must be calm and focused on the game at all times and not let anything upset your concentration. For example, when your ball rolls into a +$&(_!?* gopher hole!
I will thank everyone for their contributions to the 50/50 draw, Grandma Suzuki bought a late supper for the family with it.
I think next year we need a little more communication on who is bringing what for the BBQ.
The afternoon was enjoyed by my grandson who went to bed tonight with a rock saying "chicken man gave me this!"

Sorry guys, I was just following my usual practice of 'more patties than buns' for those folks who like 2 burgers in their buns. I kinda wondered if I wazn't being a little cheap on the buns but, then I found 8 more in my truck later that I missed- Oh well…
I'm sorry I missed meeting some new trackers, and I really would like to try bocce- there's always next year…
Many thanks to the very hospitable Saskatoon Crew for hosting the BarBQ and treating us Regina trackers like family. I can't remember having such a relaxing, fun time… the end came too soon. I enjoyed the tour given by Shewolf's little cub and learning to play that famous bocce game. Must say I had beginner's luck. I also stepped on the scale and knew I should've resisted seconds on Shewolf's delicious desert and roasting marshmallows like there was no tomorrow. I thankfully stopped at only one of Poogas skillfully cooked burgers… he even accidentally served one to Shadow. I also enjoyed tasting the GW Honey Wheat
You picked the perfect spot and it was a perfect day. It was nice meeting you all and am looking forward to next time!
