Google Maps

Hey Google map fans!! There have been some changes to the maps. Also a lot more detail in some cases. For example, Saskatoon is now in hi-res!

Find my house! It's the one right in the middle! Pictures seem to be about 2 years old from what I can determine. (No 'Brierwood hood construction begun, 22nd & Circle overpass still under construction.)

And here's Great Western Brewing. I am guessing it is about 8AM, and my vehicle is in it's normal parking spot! (Sorry, this just blows my mind!)

And here is Sarge's house. You still have one tree in the front yard. When did you cut it down?

i'm happy for you, pooga. but don't be looking for people sunning themselves in their backyards, though (i know…. i tried!…)

i'm really glad that yxe is finally hi-res, but i see they had some trouble geo-referencing the images somewhat in the north – oh well… not a perfect technology.

And there is a trouble spot on the south as well.

Also noted that several european locations have moved from lo-res to medium resolution. Still not the greatest, but at least you can see Heathrow now.

That tree in my yard came down in early August, 2002.
