The kind of heat generated by an airplain full of fuel in a contained area would melt pretty much anything. Where are the parts that are not consumed in the fire? Well probably in a warehouse somewhere as evidence. The same place all the aircraft parts went from that day- remember there were 4 aircraft lost that day.
I think this is part of the industry that springs up every time something bad happens. It's a way to make a living, if you're good enough at it. Just look at the money made by conspiracy theories and those who spin them from JFK to the Bermuda Triangle.
