So I join this crappy little outfit only to be finding myself with a daily limit. If that were not bad enough, I sent by snail mail a copy of a bill which bore my unique stamp. I then get word that it had not been received because it had been sent to an unknown address, save this was the address used by another member to communicate successfully with site owner. I then sent a scanned in copy, both faces of a bill bearing the stamp still to get no response, or find my freakin' stamped bill posted. Is this any way to generate interest in something which doesn't even earn you rewards monetarily or otherwise beside being a freakin' oblique hobby? What's up with this freakin' runaround? Somebody ought to start another Canadian site which would do a better job of generating both interest, and freakin' trust…
I hear you farley, but please remember Dr. does this because he likes it and he gets nothing out of it other than satisfaction. He is very busy and I am sure he will get around to it as soon as he can.
faarley, dr is in the reserves. He doesn't report to us evertime he is away. If you emailed him the bill thurs or fri, you will note he hasn't logged on since noon on friday.
As for the mail thing, if you used the bitonic address I don't know what would be the problem there because I also mailed him something there successfully in the last couple of weeks. Posties :-), mail something to a small town with a couples first name and they get it, yet properly address something and it comes back to you.
…take some freakin' lithium… chill out, buddy. It's just a little website, not a conspiracy to ruin yer life…
As I have said before, I am very busy. I run this site on my own time. No, I didn't get your money. There have been many incidents of postal theft (my buddy's a postie and told me that most of these thefts are not publically known, and no, he's honest so it wasn't him). Maybe that's where your money went? Ya, you probably sent an email… but guess what, I have 250 unanswered emails right now in my inbox. Here's the press release explaining why. Oh, and finally, I'm not sure how things run where you live, but for me, the last way to get something is to publicly freak out and criticize the person and make them mad. Patience goes a long way. I was gone for the last 3 days to relax after a long 4 weeks of business related stuff (on top of which I built version 2.0.0). Also, I said that the bill scans were part of the way I was rewarding people who sent a donation. If you had some patience and had taken the nice approach, maybe I would have posted your images. Maybe I still will, but this week is even busier for me so you're gonna have to be patient.
Further to my original message, I see now that you did send me a nice email on Friday afternoon. However, by that time I was long gone. And since I didn't get back until late last night, I hadn't read any of my email. But still, even counting your original email, a week is not a long time to wait. ANYONE who thinks they are hard done by is welcome to learn to be patient, because you are all in the same boat. I have about 5 messages from Pooga alone that I haven't responded to. I have a lot of things to do each day, and I do things in order of importance. So work comes first, and when I have spare time, that time is spent do things on this site. But even then, I do the most important stuff first… so that means problems with the site are dealt with before posting bills or updating limits or whatever. Also, worth noting is that CJ sent me a bill a week after everyone else (by courier no less) and it took me another week to post it. But she said nothing and was patient and it got done (finally).

Newbies have no patience. Been there done that.
I think most people have patience. Part of the excitement of something is that it's new and that you move up in the world… if everyone had the highest rank right away it wouldn't be very exciting.
Also, Faarley, guess what? In a bizzare twist of irony, I finally received your postcard today. Why did it take so long? You had the wrong address on it, and not the same address as ANGLOFROG had on her envelope. Trust me, you did. To prove it, I've emailed you a scan of the envelope. I'll post the scan of your bill when I have time to scan the bill and modify the scanned bill page.

This is a site about comraderie. I've been away for two weeks (computer failure). I'm impressed with the new version and updates. Very professional in appearance. Well done dr.
The address was not all that wrong, just the office # was incorrect, it did go to the correct building and even the right floor. The PO did not need to take that long to correct the situation, they should have known your address,it's a business that gets a lot of mail, not a residence, even so the postal code was right. Anyways.
All's well that ends well. Thank you dr.
Actually, I think it's lucky that our postal guy knows my name. Because the office is owned by Bitonic Solutions, not CMT or Douglas Robertson. So without the proper suite number, it could have ended up being a bit of a crap shoot. :)

I've posted the scan of faarley's $5 bill that he sent. In case anyone wants to see it.
