Work, work and the just for good measure we'll do some more work.
Canada day in the park (Diefenbaker) should be a good time,
fireworks and all… Beer Garden….. Like beer grows in a garden, I don't get it. Beer tent ok, however garden, just don't understand.
25 is OK but 30+ is just not right in this country. And just so you know the wife likes this weather, too hot for me.
This rambling brought to you by 5 Canadian Ice!

I'm HOME for the weekend, instead of being away all week. This is a real holiday for me.

BDKINGSTON

I am working afternoons this weekend and working in the back yard in the morning…Fun, fun, fun, and more fun…..Glad to be at work though. It's air conditioned and cool in this oh so hot weather..

Work, work, and work some more. Have to work the whole weekend. Probably won't be busy here in Kitchener. Everybody is gone elsewhere to party. Oh well. I'd rather be making money than spending it. Happy CANADA DAY everyone!!!

MAGWER

I've got to work in the barn this weekend. 38+ in there. Way too hot for me. The office is air conditioned though so we can get a break from the heat.

Well, there is a really big Elvis festival in Penticton this weekend. Infact as I type this I can hear the music coming in my window. It's Elvis everywhere around here this weekend. Elvis is in the city….. I'll be taking in a bunch of that. Fireworks tomorrow night.

I was gon to the BC coast, diving off the Gulf Islands. Was amazing. Did a couple of wrecks, a couple of walls that go straight down to deeper than one can imagine… of course, I only went to 130 ft. Was all good.

Nice. Does GW make an IPA? Because it's hard to find a good IPA. Keith's tastes just like Molson Canadian, not at all like a proper IPA like one finds in England. Even Big Rock's IPA is very non-IPA. The two best IPA's I've ever had were both from the coast; one from a local Seattle brewery and one I found this weekend (Paddywack Brewery I think). Anyway, I like an IPA that has that distinct bitter taste. All good. Okay, enough, I digress. :)

Try Moosehead beer DR.. Alexander Keith's is its major competitor and I think Moosehead is better.. I'm not sure what an IPA is, but maybe Moosehead will fall into that category..

dr

IPA is India Pale Ale, it's a distinctive type of beer. Moosehead doesn't make any as far as I know.

Funny you should mention that! The brewmaster and I were just talking about that a couple of weeks ago. We're going to do a trial some time this month, and if marketing likes it, a GW IPA should be on the market by the end of the year.

Cool. Then you can send me some. Make sure it's a real IPA, not like that fake stuff that Keith's puts out (no offense to you Nova Scotia people).

Now that's funny Mmm! Recommending an alternative when you don't know what the original is!

Something like me pining for a Maserati, and you telling me to try a Chevette! LOL!

Yaa, well.. I just knew that Alexander Keith's is a big competitor of moosehead, so I figured it was the same.
