Apparently they don't realize what we do is perfectly legal. I see nothing in the e-mail that would indicate otherwise.

That person must have only seen the part of the letter that stated 'the bank frowns upon this because the ink does deteriorate the note' and never finished reading the rest where it said, 'but, non-the-less, it is not illegal to mark the notes!
If you're going to read something and take it for law, make sure you read it all……fine print included!

Anyone who has ever worked in retail knows these kind of people - There will be something wrong no matter how hard they have to look to find it and they will vent on whoever happens to be there - We poor clerks have to just smile and nod.

I know too well. Some folks just get up in the morning and say to themselves: "I think I'll drive down to the Co-op and see if I can get a rise outta those folks because I know they can't say anything back." These people are just as cowardly as the person who made the anonymous comments on Barsmit's bill.

usually women only care about spending money not if it is marked for starters and if it is a woman, maybe she is wearing butt floss and it is aggravating her. :o)
