I got my bill back

I received one of my own bills today, I tried to register it but it said ERROR. Does this not count as a hit? **W7490474. I guess it'd make sense if it doesn't count.

In over a year of entering bills, I've only gotten one of my own back. dr does not count these at present because it may open the door to cheating. Then the site would become VERY difficult to police. I have no problem with that.

But even when the users are honest, if a person (eg., Hoggs) has a large number of bills entered in a relatively small town, I'll bet he sees his own bills come back all the time (Hoggs:Do you?). And that would skew the stats and what we are trying to do when it comes to tracking bills!

BUT, I think that if you were to pick up one of your own bills in a different location (eg., a bill you entered in Saskatoon and got back in Calgary), then I believe that an email to dr with the details would be in order.

Out of the 13000 bills I have entered i bet I haven't had 100 back and how would you know it hasn't been hit in between. Sometimes I ask where they got the bill they tell me like Raymore Wynyard etc. I had one customer bring a bill he had picked up in Saskatoon. If the government wants to know why small towns die I have already started some tests the money all goes somewhere else it doesn't circulate here.

Good point. And if you can't enter it, you don't know. Maybe we need a way to search our own list of bills for a specific serial number.

Okay, Thanks for the clarification Pooga, it does make sense to me. But even if it didn't count for points, I think it'd still be beneficial to allow it, seeing as how this is a money tracking site foremost and secondarily a "game". I think it is important to know where the money goes or STAYS. Bye for now.
