Yes, I only caught bits and pieces and I was a nail bitter….
Yeh gotta agree there with ya
Loved tho O.T. and a double at that
Wish i was at the celebration too!
What game is right- best grey cup in years-and the right team won to boot!!
Was a good game after the 1st half… the 1st half I could have had a nap.. almost did.. :)
In the second overtime Montreal looked like Saskatchewan.
Calvio ( montreal QB ) should have known you can't throw the ball 2ce. ( atleast not forward )
I agree "What a game"! compared to the last few years.
It may even make a few more people want to go to a game or two next season.

Oh Yes to go to Taylor Field in Regina, sit in the Nose bleed seats on the East side with the Sun in your eyes most of the game. Sit with a bunch of fans that spill more beer on you than you have consumed in your Life Time- yup you just got to LOVE the Game. See ya all in the stands next year with Beer in Hand ~ grin
I agree with you Lord the 1st half was a sleeper. I don't watch football except for the grey cup and this one would of been worth seeing live. I kept thinking of my brother who was there and having a great time.
Great game. Too bad the wrong team won.
Oh heck, both of them were the wrong team. Still, definitely the most exciting Grey Cup in years.
Point is….the west won….would have been 1000% better if Saskatchewan was in it…..And won!
Unfortunately…not everyone from Saskatchewan is a Roughrider fan….and not everyone in the west is a west fan. But after all is said and done, If it weren't for the half time show, It would have been the best show EVER! Anyone else have some comments on the half-time show? I didn't see it but have heard a lot of comments. People were ashamed to admit they were from Canada after the show. Comments anyone……ANYONE!
Watched the game but not the half time show as most times the half time show is pure crap…..
If ya dont like rap you wouldn't like the 1/2 time show.
I appreciate pretty much all music, not rap as much as country or rock, but it was pretty good.
All the kids loved the 1/2 time show where I watched the game. In fact they thought it was like a concert and were upset they had to quit.
Well…let me put it this way. I like rap for the most part as well as many other kinds of music. In fact, they were in Saskatoon not too long ago, and i wanted to go and was disappointed at not being able to. However, after watching the half time show, i am glad that i did not pay good money to see them live, because they were absolutely terrible. That's just my opinion tho lol.
i'm with wally on this one. i'm not sure why we'd have to import american entertainment for canada's "grand national drunk". at least with the imported footbal players, they have to play by OUR rules. someday hip-hop may find some place in "music" but at present its only goal seems to be to shock and/or titillate. entertainment?… yes – talent?… dubious. give me a half-time show with brian adams, sam roberts, or shania twain anyday.

Showing your age there!
If they wanted to please the younger crowd and stay Canadian, even something like Nickelback would have been better.
lol no if u want the younger crowd its Simple Plan and Hedley for canadian bands… as the kids say Nickelback is gettin old
Why not jazz it up? Diana Krall!
But if you insist on Hogarth, how about Theresa??? (Never cared for Kalan, except that he can sound like a young Gordon Lightfoot at times)
since when is the grey cup a kids show? us old farts count.
back in them there days when i was in my 20's the half time shows consisted of brass bands and cheerleaders. now they give out a rock concert type show ??? for what this is a football game. bring back the brass marching bands and the cheerleaders and keep the football games pure like the good old days. oh and the mascots do not forget the mascots. now on another note i was at the grey cup in regina that cold nov. 19th. (remember it as it was my birthday) and direct yellow pages took some of us full pages advertisers to the game via a booze filled bus followed by a booze soaked brunch and then to the game… well the wind was so back that if you steadied the foam coffee cups the would float on the wind in front of you as the wind blew from below. after about 30 minutes of freezing my butt off i left the stands and went over to the navy club and watched the game on the big screen tv in warmth. they were feeding us a dinner there after the game … so i got free booze and was the first in line for the yellow pages free meal. i enjoyed the game in a warm room the two guys i took to the game as my guests (yellow pages allowed me two guests) came in frozen from the game and both were sick as dogs the next day. we had seats so far up that i saw the game much better on the tube anyways. that was the last time i will ever attend a sports event in the winter in an outside arena. i did not watch the game this year as saskatchewan was not in it so what was the point.

showing my age because i can remember 2002 and 2003?!! wow… i am, however, worried about YOUR attention span… :)
I am totally with shewolf on this one Nickleback is getting old…they are still good but getting old…Simple Plan and Hedley are awesome, and they put on an awesome show….i actually just seen them both last night at the Brandt Center in Regina. It was an amazing show, one of the best I have seen.
showing my age because i can remember 2002 and 2003?
No, on your preferences for mainstream artists. :-)
insane_monkey…. my eldest went too… she finally washed her hand… but she got front and center up in Toon… then she got to shake hands with all the band members of simple plan… took her hours to come back to earth once she got home… for the young teens I hear the concert was awesome
