Maybe it's because I'm from Ontario, but I've noticed I'm not getting many hits. I've entered about 1700 bills between both sites and my hits are very low. I received one hit on the OTHER SITE yesterday, but none on this one for awhile. Has anybody else noticed this trend, or is it just me?????
I've found since school let out, my hits have dropped off. I think it is because everyone is on vacation and don't have access to a computer when they find a bill.
Or don't want to go on a computer in the warm weather.. I noticed this also, just before Summer, in May/June, I had at least 5 hits a week, now lucky to get one..
yeah last month I went through a "hit drought" but now I'm getting at least a few a day! Nice to see those hits flowing into my email box again! =)
I think the most important thing is how many others close to your bills are on site. I am in Edmonton, don't actively promote the site among friends (I don't have any), so not much action. I think that a bold stamp probably helps in these situations "follow me at…" etc.
Think of it as planting a garden. Plant more seeds = more return.
I think everyone has touched on a piece of the puzzle. It's warm, summer holidays, people have less free time in the summer, etc etc etc..
But on the other hand, because people are traveling, the money is moving around as well.
Remember some of those hits in June. From Thunder Bay: "Got it along the highway somewhere between Calgary and Winnipeg". I think that was cbrkier's bill. So the money is moving.
