what is everyone doing this year for new years eve.
this year i have collected some fireworks and im planning to go up to the lake.
i was there for canada day last year and it looked wicked, about a dozen places
around the lake, taking turns, then all at once in the end.
This year for New Years my entire family is volunteering for Operation Red Nose, from 8pm until 6am. The kids will be answering phones, my wife will be driving, and I will be providing security as my employer has donated the office and 10 vehicles to the cause. This will be a first for us, and hopefully the children will learn from it as well. May you all have a safe and happy celebration in whatever way you choose to - and please, if you are enjoying the holiday spirit(s), make plans for a safe ride home.
That sounds like a very unselfish and very good idea. I hope all works out for you and your family in your 'operation red nose'
Happy New Year to you as well.
My hubby gets home on Saturday, He works over seas, (1 month home 1 month gone,) so we are having Xmas on Sunday. He'll be way too tired Sat night, so I have made no plans. He left at 1:30 today to head home, and the kids are getting excited now, hasn't felt to Xmasy here, and now its starting to!!
