I was at a notary public the other day and paid my bill with my marked money. The notary lady seemed really ticked off that I wrote on the money. I thought she was going to give me heck. She wanted to know why I did it and I told her to see where the money goes after it leaves my hands. She just shook her head like I was crazy. Maybe out here in BC we are crazy, but it's fun.
I've had people tell me to my face that I got way too much time on my hands, or this crazy. I just ignore them and keep on pluggin'. I wouldn't worry about them, they are just very close minded.
KitKat,
I think it's us British Columbians. I have on several occasions had people who won't except any marked bills from my till. They sometimes think they are counterfeit for some reason. I think it's something in our drinking water. I usually tell people that they aren't my bills…not that I'm not proud…just because it avoids any confrontation.

Well, she's not the first person or the last to raise an eye. Even my husband thinks this is a little strange because I'm so into it. It's totally fun. The more people I tell the better. Lexa
I hope you don't get militant like me. The last clerk who refused to accept my cash was suprised when I just said "Thanks!", put the cash back in my pocket and started to leave with my purchase. Needless to say, she decided to accept my money without any further problems.
Who are these people that don't want our money?
