Another multiple hit

Woo hoo! Another multiple bill hit… this time the winner is POOGA. And the second hit was an anonymous entry. It looks like the anonymous entry system is a success so far. And even cooler is the fact that my "instant" hit and score updating seems to be working properly too. All good. :)

My concern is that the anonymous system is open for abuse. I can think of a few ways it MIGHT be done.

Question: if an anonymous user decides to join full time, can he get credit for anything he has entered?

I have anticipated that and have some measures in place. The thing is, you could do bad stuff under the old system as it never verified your email or anything. Anyway, I will keep a close watch on that stuff and if anyone sees entries/hits that look suspicious, bring them to my attention.

Right now, ya, but I would have to do it manually. In the future, ya, it's on my list of things to do. Either way, the user will have to have the serial numbers, or something else which would confirm they entered the various bills anonymously.
