I have seen mention of high low, what exactly is that, and how would you guess it is High or Low to have it recorded as such?
In Addition, I have twice gotten a message that this is a radar note. What is meant by that? What is so special about radar notes, the first one is stealth, as are most of mine, and the second one is manually marked as are a few of mine. Why would one not want to mark them??
High/low: This just refers to the serial number of a gaiven series. If you have a low serial number (anything less than a thousand, say) enter it. It's just an interesting statistic.
Radar bills: are bills where the serial number reads the same both ways- like the word 'radar', e.g. ABC1234321, or ABC2321232. People like to collect these, so DR programmed a warning into the bill entry screen that tells you the bill is a radar in case you missed it. If it's in good shape, you can sometimes sell it to someone on the site.
Thank you for your reply. Now I know what is being talked about.
The money I track, normally is what I get working as a parking attendant. I record the money people pay the kiosk for parking and enter it on my lunch or after I get home from work so seldom do I still have the money when I enter it. Also is reason for most of my money being stealth, if I am busy, I may not have time to mark them, though getting a stamp would certainly help the situation. Perhaps if I recognize a radar in time I could keep it and buy it frm the till.
However, what happens if I take in money, it goes to the office, they deposit it in the bank, the bank puts it in a machine and someone uses it on another day to pay again for parking with me. I would get a hit on my own bill, and I am getting a lot of bills I have entered into the database. Could happen. I guess it just comes as you have already entered that bill.
If you enter a bill you have already added to the database, the bill entry screen will display an error message and prevent you from entering it a second time.
Regarding a stamp, this is a great idea- you can get 'em from most business supply places, and there are a few specialty shops that can make them as well. $10 - $15 bucks, and they last a long time with re-inking. It really speeds up the bill marking process- you'll wonder why you waited so long!
