I wonder how the score is calculated. I have 1500 + entries, but have only a couple of hits on other bills, about 11 and only one of my bills hit. Others with less then five hundred entries but have ten to twenty hits and three to five of their bills hit are ahead of me. I do not have a stamp. The money I enter is the money I recieve in payment by customers for parking. I barely have time to write the serial numbers down, between customers. This makes it hard to have time to mark them, and less then ten percent of my bills, mostly twenties, are marked to encourage hits. I also get a mumber of the fives and tens back two or three days in a row. This means I may make hits but they are disallowed, since I have already entered that number. I understand the rational behind that restriction.
I have also quite often wondered how the score is calculated. If someone could please explain it to us it would be very much appreciated.
the score is calculated with an equation roughly like the one that follows
{(I * <{sqrt[log(bills entered)]}{log[hits+1]}>)
(1 - <{1 + days of inactivity}/90>)}
I is an imaginary number around 80
sqrt is sqare root of
log in the natural log usually ln on a calculator
1st line describes the score in your profile when you enter a bill that day
2nd line describes how your score drops by not entering bills.
Basicly you get alot more points for a hit than you do for a bill entered.when you get to my point a bill entered is only worth 0.0023 points / bill entered. and I think about .2 for a hit.. I don't watch too close.
when you get to jakes level I would bet she only get about .0005 / bill entered.. I wouldn't want to guess for a hit. maybe .05
I am not sure anyone actually knows, apart from dr. It is come kind of calculation involving number of days on the site, hits given, hits received and bills entered.

Actually, the last time I got curious and checked - just over a year ago - I would get about .0005 / bill entered and .01 / hit. Now you've got me curious to check again!
Thank you for your help on this. I know I drop some every day, buy gain more by entering my limit of thirty five bills. I will have to try it out and figure the scores. A big thank you for the information, and I am happy to see I am not the only one with the question.
Thank you very much for the explanation Lord_Comedy. It's nice to have some sort of idea how the cmt score works.
