Counterfeits

I was just wondering if local police, RCMP, and/or banks keep a record of the serial numbers of known counterfeit bills.

If they do, why not have them entered into a seperate, or red-flagged database here. Then if someone enters that serial number here, there could be a warning page pop up saying (in big red letters!) something like 'You are in possession of a counterfeit bill. Take it to your nearest police station!'

So is it an idea that might be workable???

I'm not sure if they keep a list or not. I'll look into it when I have time. It certainly is a feasible idea, though.

Feasible, okay, but what does everyone else think of it?

What are the chances that it would happen???

If not feasable, at least a link to the RCMP site that would automatically log a person out, and then switch him/her to the Mounties.
