A message to all the other provinces of this kick ass country… just telling you why BC ROCKS ASS!!!

1.We can drive (around hills and mountains - the world isn't flat)
2.We have the ocean (you know, OCEAN, or you don't)
3.Good Pot (you can't think of beating that one)
4.Vancouver (T.O. can suck my ass. Van is where it's at. Nickelback, Matt Good Band, Bif, Gob, need I go on? That's just the club scene in the past 5 years.)

  1. Nice mild weather all yoar long. (Geez, 15 above in december…. Only two or three snowfalls a year, totalling maybe 40cm. My life sucks eh?)

A fan of BC…
You'd know if you were here (ha ha you're not!)

I do admitt vancouver rulse. Being from the greater toronto reagon i thing T-dot and vancouver got it tied. heres some fax
-Vancouver has the most and best skateparks
-Toronto can support nba, cfl, nhl, ahl, afl, mlb, ohl, etc
-Vancouver has the washed up canucks
-toronto has all the good concerts. we can buy and sell nickel back
-vancouver it rains…Lots
-toronto has pope poop
They all good and There Canadian!

And Hogtown (as the rest of Canada calls TO) needs to call the army in whenever it snows.

TO does NOT support the CFL or MLB. Saskatchewan supports the Riders, the farmers, and it's junior teams, win or lose

And I never trust air that I can see.

It's true. And it's rare for you guys to brag or bring that up; just another credit to the best part of Canada… the Prairies. :)

I'm from Vancity too, and I agree that BC rocks, but just one thing to point out to set the record straight…Nickelback is from the prairies. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Toronto supports the CFL and MLB

Let's just the Argos are based in TO. What do they get? 10,000 fans? Regina, Calgary and Edmonton are almost always sellouts. Lotus Land isn't much better (Bye bye Grizzlies!). Alouettes have gone to a smaller stadium, but have had 32 consecutive sellouts in a friendly venue. And we won't even mention 'I Never Wynne' Stadium!

TO is starting to be like Montreal (Bye bye Expos), they only support proven winners (when was the last BJ sellout?), not the up and comers, nor the struggling… in other words, those that need support to improve.

Yah your right, well sort of, after the team wins no one likes them any more. take the bluejays, they won back to back world seriers and now season ticks are 81 bucks. Now toronto is building a new tennis stadium its guna be like the skydome. nothing. my predction in 5 years toronto will have the cup and will be becomming less popular, raps will be mormal, and bluejays will be gone, and argos will stay small. Its just too small of a city to support 10 teams.

There's nothing like having a little home town support. Nice to see someone else knows BC is the only place to live. Went to the prairies a couple of summers with air cadets and sure missed the mountains. Never gonna leave! Speaking of home town support, anybody check out the Pride Parade in Van yesterday? It was pretty good.

Well, everyone knows that T.O. is the center of the universe. That, the whole world revolves around them. If it wasn't for them Canada would fall apart, gravity would stop working, dogs and cats would sleep together, and there can't be more intelligent life in the universe because they already live in Toronto.

Red Rider

where u from red rider? and yes we do have AI. i.e. cyborg

Yeah, in the jewel of Canada. The Okanagan Valley.

Kitkat

I have to admit that the Ok valley is my second favorite place next to the lower mainland. Every year it's the fall wine festival in penticton that brings me up.

Red Rider

yup, it's a great place to live. I like to say, people come here on vacation, and I live here all year round.

Pooga

flat

Obviously never been in Sask.

Cypress Hills, highest point in the country between Newfie and the Rockies. The only REALLY flat areas are near Regina. And even then you have sloughs everywhere, with a few milion ducks, cranes, etc. North of PA, over half the province, is forest and has over 100,000 lakes. Read somewhere that Sask has almost half the lakes in the country. (Cold, dark and deep, with some very old and odd fish). Then there's the desert south of Athabasca, the valleys, etc. Quite a geographic mix for a 'flat' land.

In fact, we like it so much, we go away every winter for only 2 weeks.

kaiser

Red Rider, I was just in Penticton for vacation. Didn't spend any bills, sadly, but went down the canal. Froze, but loved it. The Okanogan isn't that bad, but T.O. sucks. No one likes it. Its the butt end of almost all Canadian jokes.

Pooga

T.O. sucks. No one likes it. Its the butt end of almost all Canadian jokes.

And that makes TO very important for national unity. We all agree on something!

is this the biggest ever forum subject?

No. There was a thread on petrol or something that went on forever and ever. :)
