Where was I July 31 to Aug 1…. Well, that's easy. I worked day shift at the plant, so I got off work at 3:30 on Thursday, went home, and went to work the next morning at 7:00 am. If you floated down the channel before 3:30 either Thurday or Friday, you were with in 100 meters of me, because I work right beside the channel. So there.

I was on the channel around then. Froze, but went on it. It was cool and long.

picked the wrong day to go down it. Some days it's tough to see the river past the people.

I hated going down. But I'd do it again, if it was warmer.
