How is May 12th for everyone. If we can nail down a date, maybe we can next get the place. I am not fussy as long as they have good salads and hot wings!

May 12th works for me. I'll be back from Winterpeg, I'm working a day shift, etc, etc. I'm not a fan of most of the national big 'franchise' restaurants, such as Earls, BP or ESM. Any independants? For example, I like both the Cottage and the Chimney House.

As far as I know the 12th works for me.
Cottage & Chimney are a little pricey, but I guess it isn't like we do this every week.
The Tap has an amazing Bison Burger & comes with sweet potatoe Fries.. ( haven't tried it.. but many people told me it is good. )
Listing the places we have been.. Help if i Missed any..
Moxies, Brewsters, Melrose Place, Cathedral Free House, Copper Kettle.
Hmm anywhere else??
We've tried spreading around where we go.

I think that pretty much covers everywhere we've been. I would suggest the 4 Seasons, they have awesome wings, but it tends to get a bit crazy since its NHL playoff time.

I just got a job working nights in fort quappelle. 11 to 7 am so have to figure out my schedule yet. for both working and SLEEPING!!!

Pooga

working nights … 11 to 7 am

Ah, my favourite shift.

I presume Monday to Friday? If so, here are my rules that have allowed me to enjoy nightshift for the last 25 years!

  1. Get up early Sunday morning.
  2. Take a 2 to 3 hour nap Sunday afternoon.
  3. DO NOT SLEEP in the evenings (you'll be tired all night)
  4. When you get home Monday to Thursday, relax, read the paper, sometimes a light meal. Go to sleep about 8AM. ( I find that I can sleep till 4PM. More sleep than I get normally!)
  5. Friday, get up about noon to 1 PM. And you can be back on schedule.

thanks for the advice! It is not shift work, just nites, just that shift. makes it easier. had to work all day sunday so nap is out of question. but I will stay awake as long as possible. lots of strong coffee and playing on the computer and I should have no problem till about 3:30, maybe 4. If I can do those times without caffeine then it should be easy. lots of bills to enter and catch up on anyhow. I figure I will just stay up all night on days off. should be great for those late parties I sometimes participate in.

But if you ever want to get some sleep….take it easy on the caffeine. You know what that stuff will do to you, right?

caffeine is good for you. dont believe all that rubbish. a whole?? what about a half? LOL

OK…I'm back from Winnipeg, and spread some bills around there, mostly in St Boniface and Headingly.

So the 12th? We still have to confirm a loc. Any 'family' restaurant should do.

When I worked a perm. night shift for three years, I would stay up late until about 3 a.m. on days off, that way I wouldn't be constantly messing with my body clock.
