anyone ever hear that the money machines don't work with stamped money?

I was told this today, however, I am sure I had had hits from people who received their bill from a money machine.

I have had lots of notes show up in ATM's - maybe just particular machines? on my profile I have a list of the ATM's my notes have been withdrawn from….

I load the cash machine in my store with marked bills. 3 to 5 thousand bucks a week- never had any problems. The only problem I've had is with REALLY wrinkled bills, or bills with a lot of tape.
My bills are marked front and back and every bill that this machine has dispensed for the last year has been a marked bill.

Machines that give you change for your bills do not always accept the marked notes, as they scan the bills, but there is no problem with machines that hand out bills as the bills that are handed out are not scanned…

I have had problems with marked bills in machines that scan your bill, such as change machines, parking machines (Saskatoon Airport) and a few others. Most of the time it is hit and miss as to whether or not a mchine will work with marked bills.

I have never heard that J-Lynn. The only place that is affected with the marked money is the casino's. I only have to look at the bill and odds are that bill if it is a 20 comes from a bank machine of some kind. You know we rent spaces on this lot to different people who want to park their trucks here and also trailers and so some guys live on the lot. Now one of those guys refuses to give me cash for his monthly rent because he insists that I am destroying the bills. Now he pays me by check..Oh well to each his own..LOL… :-)

When I worked at the bar, every bill there was stamped and the only problem with the VLT's was just the ripped, tapped and badly wrinkled, my stamped never seemed to be the problem there. Although VLT's seem to like 20's alot more than 5's!!! (stamped or not)
