my first hit !!

I recived my first hit on a bill that I marked myself.
A $50 AHB31***33
One month after I marked it.
one funny thing is, the condition actually IMPROVED by 3 positions in that 30 days ! I had it noted as VG condition, but the person who reported it noted it as EF (very fine).
I think he followed the CPMS condition guideline closer than I did. I just use more "street" rule of thumb, than collector condition, I guess.
Anyway, it feels good to have my first real hit under my belt. (my first two "hits" were previously marked bills that i had aquired.)
I only have hand-marked (one side) 25 bills so far, so I figure those are good odds.

pukpukg, wow, I'm amazed that a regular here was the first person to register a hit on one of my marked bills. I really expected it would be an annonymous person reporting it.
With only 25 of my own registered marked bills in circulation (@ that point) I wonder what the odds are of a regular member here getting one!
Maybe you should have bought a lotto ticket with that bill !

by a older gentleman who bought a 2 Litre Pepsi and 3 packs of Players KS cigarettes - he was driving a blue Chrysler 300 with Alberta Plates - No I didn't remember the details just Checked on my new DDR system at work after you asked , I can almost read the serial numbers off the bill with our new toy - can zoom right in on the bill

Not that long ago I had my first hit. I was excited. Now I am up to thirty four and one has had three or four hits!!! It takes a start. I do hand mark a lot on one side, I also have a lot of ghost bills out there. My first hit I think was a ghost hit. most now are marked.

You will be allowed to enter per day and have more changes. I want you to look forward to the tenth and the twentieth and the thirtieth. Will you get ahead of me? Maybe.
