Bishop - very well said….. thank you…..
okay now guys settle down … lets not hang rudy k out to dry for his opinion. i may not always agree with the man or even like the man but i will defend his right to his own opinion. if he want to go nuts over this location thing so be it … it is not the first time someone has ranted in the forums here. all is good with the cmt and how it operates. (thank you dr for the faster bill logging … i love the new speed).
To tell the truth when i 1st joined the site i thought it should be closer to where you live & now it is. I do see Rudy's point of view, but he is listed in the phone book.
People who are sludging tthough the site looking for info as he put it. Us saying what kind of money we have in our homes would look up our names 1st, in the phone book.
I know I am going to like having the maps more accurate.
My Point was not to go after Rudy, but to point out that the number of times I see people complain about things and expect the admins to jump to their concerns rather than looking for a simple solution to solve their concerns..
The use the Postal code of the Central post office will still allow the system to track the bill by the city and region without giving away any personal information.
This idea along with a simple polite request to DR would and still can solve the stalker issue for anyone that has it, however things had to get out of hand before it came out…
How about next time pose a question like "I am uncomfortable with the accuracy of the new maps. Does anyone have an Idea how I can still track my bills without giving away my location that accurately?" Then it becomes a discussion rather than a bitch session, where someones feelings usually get hurt..
It is more about changing our way of looking at the things you don't like and find a solution.

Well said…I agree….
A favourite website of mine has an official complaints procedure. I've modified it and included it here, for CMT purposes:
The new complaints procedure is now outlined in the CMT Compaints Manual (3rd edition, approved May22, 2006). In order to have your complaint considered by the CMT Standing Committee for Complaints the following protocols must be adhered to. Not adhering to these protocols may result in a dismissal of your complaint without a hearing. The relevant portions are exerpted below;
a. In a business sized envelope, include a $50 cash deposit, properly stamped (which will be refunded if your complaint is upheld), your return address and phone number where you can be reached. Mail to the address provided.
b. Write the details of your complaint on plain white paper.
c. Fold the paper neatly in half, and then in half again.
d. With your left hand, press said paper against your forehead.
e. Using a hammer and four (4) 2" galvanized nails, secure it firmly at each corner.
When you have submitted notarized documentation that establishes that the above procedures have been met, the CMT Standing Committee for Complaints may consider your concerns.
But not too likely.
LOL, I believe that one can also get medication for certain problems dealing with feelings of persection etc. If one has to live their lives in fear, then it is not worth living. Sure, I could get killed driving my car, in an airplane, walking across the street, eating chicken or beef or getting diseases from insects. (west nile and Lyme diesease) But I am not going to lock myself up in my house. Bugs be darned!! Muggers be darned. Murderering psychos be darned. If I want to walk my 3 pound dog at 3 in the morning, I will. I would rather be dead than live in fear.
