Hi again. Guess a couple of people starte out there and it just keeps growing.
We are just the most interested in money as we have less of it.
They have nothing else to do but track bills..
haha, awesome, go saskatchewan
Hey, sexykasey…I, too, am from Regina…I asked that, too, when I first joined back in April…it will hurt the members to learn that I have neglected to report at least ten bills that I've come across…sorry, guys and girls, but this is a pathetic hobby…hope you all can find a life someday! lol
To each their own..If we all enjoyed the same things and had the exact same tastes and interests, just think how boring life would be…….
I take it the social aspect of this hobby is what keeps people interested…am I right? Like, who cares where a random $5 bill that I have in my pocket has been…just think, it's travelled at least a couple thousand kms to get here (Regina) from Ottawa (or wherever the h*ll they print these bills)…I just don't see the thrill in it…
This is just one of my many pathetic hobbies which include golf, bowling, fishing, exercise, cars, carpentry, enjoying time with my family and friends, etc, etc, etc, etc.
Golf? Bowling? Now you are talkin' my language, man!!! Where do you bowl? Where do you golf? At the risk of giving myself away, I am an Assistant Pro at Emerald Park Golf & CC just outside of Regina…as well, I bowl in the Thursday Night League at Golden Mile Lanes, also here in Regina!!!
Imagine that having something in common with us boring hobbyless people, I also bowl in Regina every Thurday nite and I live in Moose Jaw.
No way…who the h*ll are you? Fish? McFadden? Who? lmao
"No way…who the h*ll are you? Fish? McFadden? Who?"
No none of the above but I know Fish very well. I have won some cash off of Fish in skins many times!McFadden also.
By process of elimination, you gotta be Trent…am I right?
Nope, I bowl at the Glencarin alleys now, I bowled with Fish and McFadden in Moose Jaw. Sorry I don't think we have met unless you did tournaments in Moose Jaw.
Well, if you are a serious five-pinner, then I will know you…you can deduce what my last name is…I've bowled in National events in YBC, as well I was on Regina's Mixed Team in 2001…I bowl at Golden Mile, so maybe I don't know you…I know most bowlers from Moose Jaw, though!!!
I used to bowl five pin (18 Years) but switched to ten pin 11 years ago, when you talk to Fish ask him about $5 bucks! $5 bucks! $5 bucks!
Check out the website: www.fairhavenbowl.com and go through the links to the message board…this is where I like to talk bowling…yes, I am serious, people! Five-pin is a sport, you know!!! lol
Did you work at Pizza Hut? lol
I used to bowl Wednesday Major League at South Hill…I bet I know your name…I know most of the ten-pinners' names, too…it must s*ck that ten-pin is done in Moose Jaw, eh?
No I don't work at Pizza Hut!
I ran the skins games for the last 4 years that I bowled in Moose Jaw and I bowled the Super League Wednesday nites (10 Pin) and the Mens league Thursdays.
It is a pain trying to get out of work some Thursdays to make it in time for league, thank god we have had mild winters.
Five-pin is my game, I find it more challenging than ten-pin…although ten-pin is a great version of bowling, don't get me wrong…were you good enough at five-pin to get to Provincials or perhaps Nationals? Give me a hint as to your name…I will tell you if I know you, but I won't give away your name if that's your concern…I must know who I'm talkin' to, you know! lol
My 5 pin was good but not consistent enough to get to provincials (214 average-High game 432) but the amount of players decreased and some of the leagues folded (it wasn't fun anymore) so I switched to 10 pin.
When you talk to Fish ask him about the $5 bucks thing he will tell you who I am!
Sounds good…432? How did you manage to get that score? I just bowled a career high 413 earlier this year…wow, great game, man…I will ask Fish about you…
That score was on the downtown lanes in 1985 back in the glory days when there was a waiting list to get in to any league.
The exact score I would have to look up but it was around 430 (the memory slips as you get older) I thought that was what it was!
Yes, I hear you…I was a Bantam in YBC in those days (at Downtown)…hey, how do young YBC kids bowl in ten-pin? Between the legs?
