Bad language!

I was noodling around in the forums this morning and discovered that dr has added (not sure how long ago though) a neat feature that screens for bad language. For some words it converts it to a reasonable substitute and for others it just puts in asterisks…. s**t.

I was using the word that rhymes with dam and it substituted darn…..

Funny that someone finally noticed. That feature has been in place for quite a while now, though to be honest I can no longer remember when I added that darn code. :)

I know that it's been at least a couple of years. Should be something in the forum, archives about it.

I thought that was what preview message was for - when you see all the ***'s you would then change the words to something more appropriate

Some of us won't notice as we know how to conduct ourselves in public forums. Even tho, the internet is FREE SPEECH, most of us refrain from using such sailor language..

HOWEVER, now that I know our language will be **, I won't have to work!

It's been here for quite awhile…..I got caught really early in my "addiction"….Haven't cussed since!

hmmm that was a good test like the feature but did not know it was there.
