Sask Prov Gathering IV Report

Ok, I'll start the report thread.

It was a quiet, unevenful gathering, and we all went home hungry.

The Bocce Pit was so overgrown the games were taking forever, hence no champion. (If I could have played there might have been a champ!)

The worst of it all was it rained off & on.. It seemed every time we got out of the "kitchen" where we couldn't cook, it started raining again.

And the rain ruined what little food there was.

However, I do protest the the comments on bocce. Kayfbee and myself won both our games in the sort-of team tournament play.

Thanks to Sarge bringing his Bazooka it kept those dam crows from eating the small amout of food that was to be are provisions for the day.

But the sad part was we did not break in L-C 's new balls.

And the golf was horrible. Hot and windy. And the golf balls wouldn't fly straight.

We didn't use LC's balls because they were brand new, and we didn't want to see them scuffed up on the rocks.

Suzuki had a bad day cooking. Everything burnt.

Joycer's buns were missing in action.

Couldn't get our regular spot. It was taken by some Coors Light drinkers!

Almost got thrown out because we forgot to pay at the gate.

Pooga, don't exagerate, it wasn't all bad. That chipmunk we BBQ'ed was ok ;-)

Forgot about that. Yes, our big, vicious guard dog, Shadow, managed to keep us from starving with his hunting skills.

At least there was no shortage of pot scrubbers. I wish there had been something to scrub!

Ya, we had such a terrible time nobody even wanted to contribute to DR to help keep this site up and running.

The chips were stale. And CJ's desert didn't turn out that well.

(BTW CJ, could you send me the recipe???)

Hmmm sounds like we need to refund everyone for their time and set up another one. On one of my days off please! :o)
