Hit in NT

On June 17th I received a HIT from kerri_mcp up in Tulita, NT, on a $50 note. I now have HITs in 6 of the provinces plus this one territory.

However, when I try to access where Tulita is, all that comes up is a cross-section of Calgary showing two hospitals, the Colonel Belcher and the Holy Cross. Why would Google spring this map up for Tulita, NT???

Something with the postal code..
DR programmed in a postal code change from the last system.
any of the invalid postal codes were put to map at that spot.

For those interested in some site history, that location (T2S 2S5) is the area I was working in at the time the site was created. As such, it is the default location that comes up when there is an error, when the postal code doesn't exist, when the DB returns a NULL lat/long coordinate or when the user tries to view a location and they aren't logged in.

Could you change that default to where you are living now? I sure would like everyone to know exactly where you live!

(He says, with tongue-in-cheek)

Heh, with humour like that no wonder you're only a Major. :)

I have lots of entries that I used my home postal code on. Come visit anytime. But bring beer. :)
