MAGWER
I was just wondering why I am not in the list for CMT score. Is the score averaged out over a period of time? Or have I not been back long enough to have it updated yet?

There has been a change to the scoring system since you left. Each day you don't enter a bill, your score drops a little bit. When you enter a bill after being away for awhile, your score goes up 25 points per day until it reaches your current score.
have faith, you WILL catch up!
My score today reads over 700 but I am not in the top ten list. As I go through the list it goes right past my score and I don't see my name. Are the top ten lists averages or constantly updated with every entry?
When I came back after not entering any bills for a few months, it took about three weeks or so to see my name on the list. Your score will show you at 700, however it will
take a while to bring your name back up from the dungen on the top ten list.
Yes, that is strange. I looked through all of the list and couldn't see your handle. MAGWER, maybe you could send dr an e-mail and see if he can do some magic to have you showing up on the list again.
Thanks everyone, I wasn't expecting to be in the lists right away anyway. I was just looking for some info on the new updates since I've been gone.
The best place to look for this info is under "Help". dr has an extensive "What's New" listing.
You can find it here.
I'm experiencing the same thing. My score is bouncing around the low 600's but I don't appear on the list. I have sent dr an e-mail about this a few weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back. I understand the he's a busy individual and can't reply immediately. Until then, I'll keep doing my thing over here, entering bills and praying to the hit gods for more hits. :)
Did either of you check your profile & see you score b4 you entered a bill?
As it has been mentioned your score only improves 25 points per day.
If you have been absent over a year, You may not have a positive score for months.
Magwar you said you have a score of 700. A 1 year absense would put you at - 2800 points. divide that by 25 it is 112 days until you hit 0
In the past I have said there should not be a negative score, so if Dr resets you score then you would start at 0 again. Then you would return to the score board & slowly rise.
If the score improves 25 points per day, does that include the bills entered and hits I've rec'd or is the points for B.E. & the H.R. over and above the 25 points?
i did a rough calculation samson you will be another month b4 you reach a positive score
18 months absent.. & here since march 23.. i think..
The score improves 25 points per day until it catches up to what your real score is. You always see you real score on your profile..
Thanks LC and BD. I knew there had to be a reason for my name and score not showing up. I wasn't worried about it as the score isn't that important to me. It's getting some bills to enter and hopefully getting the hits that count. This month seems to be really slow for hits. :(
Magwer, I just checked you were not online since January 2003 over 3 years. Unless DR resets your score you will NOT be on the score board for over a year. 390 days from when you 1st entered.. july 2 I think.. so say 370 days from now you will be somewhere between 0 - 25 points.
Ouch, I guess I won't be cracking top ten for a while then.
Well thats what happens when ya come out of retirement magwer … by the way welcome back to the site :-) your going to see many new faces on the site mine included and the likes of pukpukg who is buring up the ladder. By the time you reach paged one I think all those on it will be over 1,000 points as that seems to be the new level set for getting into the top five and that will spread fast to be the minimum level for page one soon. Now I hate to admit that I must (oh I hate this) agree with Lord Comedy (ouch that hurts) that a persons score should only zero out and not go negative. But if that happens then I think the score should not rise back at 25 points per day but should just rise like a newbie score. Now on a second note I would think that instead of going negative the player could also lose rank say going from a user to a newbie. Never would we remove a member just drop them to the lowest level. One year would and is a long time to regain yourself. Good luck and if you stick it out for that year then we will see you really climb… LC always loves to put the bright side on everything in here.
And remember, getting hits also ups your score in addition to entering money.
