Never seen this stamp before. It looks like this bill has been around, it would have been great to see who's it was.
It's really too bad we can't find a way to locate the parent(s) of these lost bills. It makes me wonder how many screw-ups I've made entering bills. Maybe that's why my hit ratio is so bad…
About the only thing I could suggest would mean work for dr.
Probably look at the database serial numbers and look for a bill that is one number off, or has a couple of numbers transposed.
Although he wouldn't have to do that kind of research if somebody else had database access. hint. hint. nudge. nudge.

wes_bos: It said "Track this bill online @ www.cdn-money.com" on two lines. The interesting part was that the ink looked like it started out black, but has faded, especially on the edges, to a kind of purple.
I thought it might be Poogas, because of the ink he uses, but it was not his stamp. The letters were smaller than Pooga and Sarge's stamps.
Also, most folks stamp the bills twice, once front and back, but this bill had one on the front and two on the back.

I think its mine. I used to have a self inking stamp that is changable. I used to have it set to "Track this Bill accross Canada: www.cdn-money.com" Except the dash was longer than a normal cause I had to cut an arrow to make it. If you could post a scan it would be great. Did the font look like this?
No, I did get one of yours the other day though. Sorry, I can't scan it because I sent it on it's way. I can tell you the stamp was all the same font, and it was about the same size as my old stamp, (not the circle one) on the bills DR scanned. It wasn't as compact- it was about the same height, but was wider, if that makes sense to you…

That's how I feel when I get one of these. I know it's possible to mess up when you enter bills 'cause I've done it, but I seem to get a disproportionate number of 'orphan' bills. This is the third one in the last three weeks.
I'm not sure why you wouldn't have received a hit from the bill I mentioned, it did come up as one of yours when I entered it. This was a while ago, mind you- I mentioned it because the orphan bill I got last night didn't look like the stamp I saw before. Sorry if I made it sound like I got 'em at the same time.
That's odd. Did it say "this bill has produced a hit"? Maybe dr deleted it before I got to look at it, I don't know. Or was it when I sent you the Super 7 cash, If so I got a hit for that..

I was thinking about these 'orphaned' bills and it occured to me that one of these days there may be an 'adopted' bill.
Just the opposite situation. The odds are very unlikely, but someone maybe entering a bill one day with no markings that registers a hit for someone. And not just the bills that Sarge or BD put out unmarked, but one that has not been seen by CMT.
I don't know if that makes sense to you. eg, I have a bill, XXX1234567, but accidentally put in XXY1234567. Then wes actually does get a bill XXY1234567. He figures it's new, and bam! he hits my serial number, even though I never saw the bill.
Okay, I admit, it's a long shot. But you never know. (translation for wes: Butt u knefer no!)

Good thought pooga but we would never know unless the enterer posted a message saying this bill was not marked but it gave ———a hit. And in the case of those of us who did not use to mark all of our bills, we would think it was one of those and we still would not realized the adoption. But I say IF we get hits from unmarked bills we should post the information to see if it possible is an adopted bill. I know I have marked all of my bills since sometime this spring and now masterraistalin isn't marking all of his bills due to problems with the bank that he does not wish to see blossom..

True enough. The ones who would know for sure are users like myself who have marked every bill we've entered. If we get a hit from an unmarked bill, then we would know for sure that we'd made an input error in the past.
who is the guy that enters massive amount of bills but isn't allowed to mark them because of his boss. It was one of his bills that someone here entered and gave a hit.

And Masterraistlin also gave me a hit on one of my 700 or so unmarked bills….
