Hi all. I was partying at the Country Rockin' Royal in Moose Jaw last week and got a fin with this URL on it. Sounded cool so I tucked it in my sock so I wouldn't accidentally spend it on more booze!

It's good that you sacrifice as to not use it to drink booze. Must have been hard on ya. I think though, in the end you will be happy with your choice. Good luck and happing hunting, oh and welcome from the sunny Okanagan, Penticton B.C.
I think I'd had enough at that point anyways!
Welcome aboard from Saskatoon.. Start markin and trackin and join in the fun.
Another welcome from Saskatoon!
And thanks for hitting my bill!
Isn't Bushell Park the old CFB Moose Jaw?
Hello from Manitoba.
Pooga the answer is yes but it is called 15 Wing now!
And welcome to willis966 from another Moose Javian.
And a big hello from Ontario…where the people are also curious, fun-loving, and dedicated (well, at least this one is!). A lot of us, like me, also tend to be purists when it comes to our money…the 2$-bill, for instance, is something I wish we still had. I keep two of 'em in my wallet to remind me of the days when they populated our country instead of the coins. (Now I bet I sound obsessed. Oh well. As long as I'm in similar company, I suppose it's alright.)

You're partially right there. But in the days before the loony, you would never see a $2 bill in Saskatchewan! It was called 'Moose Jaw Money' out here, and was considered bad luck!
Because many years ago that's how much it cost to buy a lady's 'favours'!!!
I'm actually an Ontarian myself, born and raised in Kitchener. I'm just out here for work.
How ironic…I actually used to live in Alberta, but moved when I was young (so unfortunately, I don't remember anything of the great west!) But I do remember my mother saying something about the rarity of 2$ bills out west. Funny… Are the coins regarded in the same manner nowadays?
No just the two dollars bills.. Old evils die hard..
Shame, that is. I always preferred the bills to the coins (well, I still do!). Mind you, I think I'm somewhat of a purist when it comes to money. I read a message a while ago where people were discussing how it would be cool to bring the 2$ bill back. I'd like that. :)
