be creative

I've been reading people's descriptions of where they got the money they entered. It's very boring. The potential for creativity is alarming. Elaborate. Make it halfway interesting. If someone gets one of my bills, I want to know where they got it and/or what they're doing with it. If you can't remember, make something up.

Yep, we've taled about it.
Some of the best are:

"from store"
"hi"
"Ate lunch"

There are some real dumb ones people have written and shouldn't have even taken the time to write it, but they did add the bill, got to give 'em credit.

You bet. As much as we would like to see interesting comments, I'm happy they took the time to enter the bill.

hey j_bannman, good to see you back, I figured you just got paid and couldn't talk with your mouth full. I used to write nifty comments but I'm in such a hurry to get them entered before they're reentered, then again hits here for me are few and far between.

I'd hate to run into you on a payday. So you hang out on Granville St eh? I used to hate running into your type by the McD by the reperatory cinema across from the Army Store, or at the one by the Vancouver Stock Exchange (got any spare change?) that Granville street is a wierd one, much too skinny for all those buses comming and going. The street itself seems to link east-side and west-side Vancouver. I prefer east-side, though I felt I never fit in, the west-end too touristy.

The east side is the bad part of town. Site of where all the women were abducted then fed to the pigs in "Pork" Couquitlem.

It was bad even before then. If you don't mind the drunks and the druggies its ok. Because of my size people don't seem to pick on me. I went to a nice Chinese restaurant there, then there's Sun Yat Sen Gardens, a gift shop not to far away that sells the most facinating marble stamps with Chinese lettering. There's a bar, I think its called Cambies where I used to hang out with the gang after work.

I'm not one to ask for change. I don't like working, but I do cause I have to. East and West are totally different. I wouldn't say the east is dangerous(unless you're an idiot), but it's definitly the worst part of town. Anyone who lives in Vancouver and feels they have it tough should visit Hastings street and see how tough life can really be. I wouldn't say that Granville street is touristy so much as it is pretentious. It's the place to be seen. But it's a cool place to live because somethings always happening.
