In Oct. Saskatoon Speedway is having an endurance race (high speen demolition derby). If there is enough people I have thought of renting a VIP Tent and hosting a CMT Race Night. Anyone who would like to attend please place your name on this thread. Oct 08 Sun 2:00 SPECIAL ENDURO More details to follow.

Sounds great Bank collector, put me down for two,I do have to go to fort st.john in early oct. for a wedding, but always try to make the enduros

Dr.JD Fever

I will be there with bells on( ok maybe my parka & touque) as the Nights do tend to get a little cool ,it is a lot of fun and the Foot Long Hot Dog's always fill the gap~ just ask BC he has a least three a race night.
Hope as many race fans as possible can make it!!!
See ya all at the track!!

Sounds good! I have planned on attending that one for sure. Just a note though, It's not really a demolition derby per se! it is a timed race where the winner is the one who makes the most laps around the track. The only rule is….there are no rules. The drivers aren't out to demolish the other cars, but to race and see who can hit each other off the track or spin them out or slow them down in any way to keep them from winning(so I guess demolishing the car is one way to make sure he doesn't win!). If you have seen demolition derby's but never an enduro race, they are just as much fun.
Now after saying that, I don't know how things are going to be with the new track. They have a HUGE cement wall around the outside of the track so there won't be as many cars flying off the corners or not as many roll-overs, which are a big crowd pleaser. But, if you love racing and love crashes…..the enduro is well worth the time and money to go see!
Thanks BC for offering to rent a VIP tent for all the CMT race fans to sit in. I hope it is a great day for racing and…who knows, maybe we can call it an "official gathering" and have a 50-50 draw and everything!

JD the race is at 2pm not the night we might be able to arrange a bite to eat after the races. I have contacted the raceway about a vip tent I will keep all posted as to what is going on.

Dr.JD Fever

Ya just had to spoil it for me didnt ya- I have been on eBay looking for a FLASK to put my beverage of choice in to use as anti freeze.

BANKCOLLECTOR

Well bring your flask along they have real nice ones at the key place in Lawson Mall I bought one for my brother last year. I guess I could have got you that instead of the bottle of JD for your birthday but donot think you would have enjoyed it as much… of course it would have lasted longer. Since when does a 40 oz'er only have 10 drinks in it???? As for the foot longs at least tell the truth that I only eat them when you buy them for me… so stop buying them.

Dr.JD Fever

ShhhhhhhUUUUsssshhhhh!!! - Now the secert is out I will get stuck buying for more than you.
……. and to answer your question about a 40 - it is only 8- to allow for the over pour of the line.

or the slugs you take from the bottle after or before you fill your glass…

is that where the saying my glass runnith over comes from?

Dr.JD Fever

It has taken you this long to figure that one out~ for shame on you!!!!

….. dont stay up all night trying to figure out if the glass is half empty or half full now OK

Lord_Comedy

:) well it depends on what side of half the glass is on.. if it is just over half then it is half full
take a sip then it is half empty.. then you need to add a little & make it half full again.. take a sip.. & repeat.. LOL

Dr.JD Fever

…. Are you speaking from experience LC~grin

You always stay on the open side of the glass LC it makes it much easier to get at the contents ~ dahhhhhhhhh

BANKCOLLECTOR

from what i have seen with you jd your glass is always almost empty. you seem to inhale the contents before it settles.

BANKCOLLECTOR

dr. jd i was floored when we went to the liq. store and the clerk came up to you said hello (by name) and asked you how many cases you wanted. me thinks you have become to familiar with that location. was that what you invested your winnings in? when your investment expert told you to invest in distilleries he meant the stocks not the product.
did they give you all that jd stuff you wear for your total product support?

Lord_Comedy

Actually JD, I like to keep the glass full. Take a sip & refill it. Not usually alcohol though… water or juice.
Milk, chocolate milk.. I am drunk on life. I don't need spirits. Doesn't mean I don't drink them. Just not much of them.

Lord_Comedy

I wish I could.. It would be very nice & Fun!!
But I doubt I would be able to make it.
If anything changes I will let ya know!

Oct 08 Sun 2:00 SPECIAL ENDURO Details to follow:

Well the idea of a VIP Tent has been shot down as they want $300.00 for use of a tent and that only allows you 8 people into the races. That works out a wee bit costly for each person at $37.50 each. Cheaper for us to pay the $13.00 gate fee and sit in the stands. A VIP tent only gives you some plastic seats and a tent to protect you from the elements. Well I say we can rough it for the three hours at the races. Then if anyone is hungry we will meet at Denny's after the races for a beer and some eats.
