I know I said it here a long time ago, but I'll mention it again for the newer members…

I think it's a good idea to thank a new user takes the time to register and enter a marked bill. It might even convince them to come back. As an example, with a Saskatchewan hit I send the following:

Thanks for recently entering that marked bill and giving me a hit!

It also increases Saskatchewan's lead in the stats.

I hope that you will return to the site often and enter all the bills that come into your possession!

I did just that the other day. It was one of the first times an actual user logged in a bill. (Not an anonymous user.) I sent it via their anonymous email. You're right though, it might encourage them to come back.

I agree. I finally got someone to sign up but they did not set up their anonymous email so I couldn't thank him.
