I finally clued in!! I didn't realize you ran THE ice cream truck, redmax1. I didn't get to hear him as often this summer, but whenever we did hear that million-decibel song come piping our way, we'd both shout, "Ice cream man! Ice cream man!"
Yep… I always smile when I hear that tune… felt a lump in my throat when I knew it would be the last time I heard it for this year… sniff
I think that truck has a life of its own… does it have a nickname?
-a sad cheezie who didn't get to celebrate eating the last hot fudge sundae of the season… DQ just isn't the same.
I'd like to buy an ice cream truck that plays really warped music, like a broken music box, drive it down the street and throw hamburgers at people.
People say I'm antisocial, but I think it's creativity.

I always wanted to do that, with the ice cream truck. I would only play hate music, and everyone would be afraid of the icecream man from than on, the real one would lose the business cause no one want to buy from him anymore than he won't come around with the music (You'd think they could have a variety of music in their business, but one song makes me mad)
My truck would serve food to the tune "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple…

I think a liquor license would be the best route to go.
Have a cool truck pull up at your house on a Sat. afternoon with a cold beer, or at your work place (shop) on a 28C day.
Well welcome to Sask. it could be legal in 49 of 50 States and 7 of 10 provinces and still not allowed in Sask. At least not for another 25 years.
And yes, the truck is for sale. Ive had five very good years with it, however its time to get on with a new biz. The sad part is that nobody in this town will give me what its worth so after having several chats with a guy in the states, I think thats where it will go.
After 25 years, three trucks then down to one, its time to say goodbye to toon town.
Does anyone know the music the truck uses, I'll bet a beer for the right answer…..
