Version 1.4.2

I just deployed a new version of the site, version 1.4.2. Although this is a minor release, there are a couple of new things, the most noticeable of which is the 'User Info' box on the main page after you've logged in. As per normal, all the details on what was done in this release can be found on the "What's New" page within the help section. Enjoy!

Well, I like the new user info box. :)

Here's a suggestion for that box: next to where it says CMT Score, bills entered and total hits, it would be nifty if it also said our position in the standings for each category. For example:
CMT Score: 402.3834 (4th)
Bills Entered: 392 (5th)

I thought about that but the problem that all of that stuff is calculated on the fly rather than on a semi-regular basis (say, every 15 minutes). So, in order to display that, I would have to figure out the "top lists" and find out where each user stands, or take it from a static place in the database, or something along that lines. Basically, to make a long story short, using the current setup, it increased the time taken to display the main page to a time which I felt was too long. In the future, perhaps we can do it, but then all the top ten lists won't be "up-to-date to the second". It's all about trade offs, I guess. :)

I like the user info box. Everything handy if you're in too much of a hurry to use the pop-ups.

When you do the weekly mail out, what kind of categories are you considering? I would expect things like number of bills entered for the week, hits, etc.
