Interesting. I think We should get rid of Pennys….How cheap are we that we have to collect 4 max pennies from the cashier. Just round it off people! its not that much. 4 cents max.

Think about it..Do that 100 times in a week and thats $4.00.. Another 24 times and you have another fiver to mark and track..

Hey, pennies are good. A cent is a cent in my books. But people hating them is good for me. Last year I found 12 dollars in pennies that people threw on the ground (includes dimes, nickles, quarters, and even a twonie) The year before that I found 7 bucks worth, and I have more than 20 bucks this year so far. I put all the pennies (or found money in general) in a bucket, it really adds up. I found a penny today :)

Who picks up pennies these days. I even vacuum them up with the dust! All spare change I collect in buckets and trade them for fives at the bank, which then of course I stamp and enter. The toonies really add up, I don't use vending machines much. The nickles and dimes add up to fast cash, who really has time to dole out exact change, it usually means you don't have enough.

I have a change sorter. It rolls it and all. lol, I'm at Future Shop now trying out a new Imac. it's cool. I want one now

And the pennys thing…What do people think when ur picking up a penny? Sometimes when i go near some people i throw a penny on the ground and most of the time people pick it up. once i had 2 18 year old fighthin over it

I got 1000 pennies from the bank once. they were all pretty old. Some looked like they were in the railroad tracks.

I tend to go with the latter. I smile and imagine someone else coming upon it, and picking it up or not… See… If I don't pick the penny up, more people can benifit from its good luck charms. Yes, I'm a moron.

Next year I plan on buying a canvass bag of 1000 2003 pennies from the bank. No reason, just want to.

You can get canvas bags from them??? the ones like the ones with dollar signs on them

In the US you can. I would think that the RCM should do the same thing. My dads friend had a canvass bag, but not full of 1000 pennies. It had $400(40000) pennies.

I think thoes are called looting bags…If u want one that bad just got to the dollar store and buy a litle one that gum comes in.

I want a real one from the RCM. I've seen them in the US Mint site, and hope the RCM has them.
