I've entered lots of 100's and 50's. Had some hits on the 50's, but they got sent to hit heaven.
I bought a car with cash a couple of months ago and have yet to receive any hits off those bills as well. Mostly $50's and $100's. Those bills aren't everyday use bills I guess.
I gave up entering $50's and $100's. I've only gotten one hit on a Fifty here, and thats because I gave the bill to my mechanic for parts for my car. I used to enter every $20 I received but now I only enter the odd one because I found the $10's and $5's were the only ones getting hit alot.
I used to enter mostly large bills. My theory was that people would take care of them better, and they would circulate longer, therefore would generate more hits. Then I switched to fives because I wasn't getting any hits at all. Funny thing, now I'm getting some hits off these long-lost twenties. I think they get warehoused somewhere and then are released when there is a large demand for cash. It will be interesting to see what happens this Christmas…
I'm too poor to come across too many 50's and 100's. . .in fact I don't think I've ever possessed one! 20's usually tend to come in bunches so people don't notice the stamp/website on it. . .The bill just gets lost in the pile. . .it might be noticed at the time that it's being spent but by that time it's too late. . .and it's on its way. . .
When I was doing 20s, I was marking whole bundles at a time, so they weren't getting lost in the bundle, they were the whole bundle. These bundles were being deposited in the bank, and now some of these 20's are appearing in B.C. and other places, whick gives some credibility to my theory.
Yup, I work in a bar, and all the big bills are deposited to the bank. They probably sit there for a long time. Who uses that much cash anymore with the ease of debit transactions and automatic deposits? And can someone tell me where I can get a stamp to do my bills? Thanks.
Office supply stores are good, but in Saskatoon were're spoiled, there is a great place called Rose's Marking Devices, but it may be inconvenient for you. Here's the site:

Yup, it's inconvenient alright. I live in Edmonton and don't have a credit card….There must be something here, I'll have to check it out…but, thanks!
Maybe you can scare up Serotonin- he's in Edmonton. I know he got a stamp somewhere- he can probably give you the benefit of his wisdom…
Well, when I see him here I'll definately be asking. Thanks.
Mmmbeer has gotten a double hit off one of his $50's before. Just felt like pointing that out.
I've had hits, but very few, and I've marked a lot of 100's and 50's. Even 20's are pretty weak. I think the 5's are good because they are the currency most likely to be in the hands of those who would be interested in this site. (Either we're all poor, or all young)!
kaiser it is now a triple on the fifty.. Triple!!! Anyway, I think its the record for it's kind..
That bills gone far. Three different provinces(BC, Atla., Sas.) and something like almost 2,000kms.
