Has anyone actually seen one of these new notes yet. Just curious.

Asked at the bank of Montreal the other day and they laughed at me……"Just come out today and already asking for them"….GET SERIOUS!
Sounds like it will be a couple of weeks before they hit the public.

I'm not so sure everyone is going to be happy with the new bills. Apparently, they have a coating that resists stamp ink, and I believe most people at this site use stamps. If anyone is interested, they can take a look at the discussions on the Main Forum at Where's Willy. I haven't seen any of the new bills yet–I think we must be the last to get them in Saskatchewan. I only mark on the backs of the bills with Sharpie pens, which may work okay.

I posted the results of a few tests I conducted, using stamp pad ink, printer ink and various writing utensils.

You should be able to read the results by copying the link below. Some creative ways to get around the new problem were suggested, but I would be careful not to draw any negative attention to these new notes. I'm going to wait for a little bit until I start marking these bills regularily and until all the prefixes are in the system.
