How many until your first hit?

Just curious … obviously with only 64 entered I'm not expecting much yet. Plus, I need to enter more fives to get some hits but I'm just curious as to how many entries it to everyone to get their first hit.

my first hit came after 114 notes….first one does take a while, but once you're past that one you'll find there is a "snowball" effect, they just start coming faster & faster - good luck on that first hit, may it come quickly, & don't get discouraged…. it will come.

Mine was after 251 entries and 39 days after I joined. It will happen, and once it starts it is bound to go on a roll from there….Happy Tracking!

I don't recall how many bills I entered before I got my first hit here. I think it's more of a matter of time than #. Usually within 3-6 weeks after EMSing you should see your first hits. Of course alot depends on how you mark them, what denomination they are, where you spend them and at what time they're spent.

I have entered 198 bills and have been a member for 5 weeks, and I am still waiting to receive my first hit. I know the day will come….

I think its a thing from another site. I don't know how to put in a link but here's what they say: "If you choose to mark your bills, you MUST FIRST 'Enter' them into Where's Willy?, then 'Mark' the bills, then finally 'Spend' them. Think 'Enter-Mark-Spend' or just 'EMS'."

I think I had entered about 100 notes, most of them $20's with a few $5's. I don't know how long it took..probably a month. (But I lived in Regina then.)

Iammichelle suggested it's only a term related to WW. Yes we (Hank)may have coined the term, but it is the correct order recognized by Bill Trackers. Certainly it wouldn't make sense to Spend then Mark, or Mark, Spend then Enter as it would produce Orphans or create illigitimate Statistics.

Following this practice saves the Webmaster a lot of headaches and floods of emails regarding entries or hits. Mind you they'll never dissappear entirely, but they are greatly lessened!

I didn't mean to suggest its only a term from WW. I meant to suggest that that's where I found the definition. I was just trying to be helpful…

Since it's a WW term, I doubt that it will be used here by the serious trackers.

Yes it's a WW term but we're all playing the same game here. I sometimes mark before I enter, but I have a system so that none get lost in the shuffle and end up being Orphaned. I was merely suggesting that by following this simple guideline less problems result for the user, enterer and 'System Lord' (DR or Hank).

dr has ordained that the proper term shall be 'note' rather than 'bill'. And he has changed all reference to the word 'bill' on the site to 'note'.

LOL I may be a 'Banknote Collector', but the bills still pile up. You know, Hydro, Phone, Cable, etc. Sometimes I'll have a real collection of them! :)
