I finally got a RADAR! Has anyone ever done the math to figure out how rare these are?

Ok so maybe I was born in the dark or something but can someone please tell me what a radar bill is and why it's so exciting to own one?

A radar bill is a bill with the numbers in the serial number that read the same from both ends (example 2756572)

Radar bills have the serial eg 4560654, or 1234321 etc, can read them same forward or backward. I had one last week and didn't know until I entered it.

Had already spent the radar bill before I realized it was one, check you bills entered maybe you already had one.

If the bill is in EF - UNC may I please purchase it? Radars come in every brick of consecutives.. Meaning every 1000 bills there will be RADAR! just think about it, 2567652 1000 bills later you have 2568652…

It is an AOA series! Even the letters are a radar! But it's not for sale. ;-)

Thanx for clearing up the whole "radar" thing. . .I'm gonna check my bills now. . .or maybe I don't want to. . .what if I find one that I have already entered but has been already sent on its way? Maybe I'll just check the bills currently in my possession and it'll save me the pain and suffering. . .

Today I had a 20 with 1 number off of a RADAR.. 102*200…

I had the same thing last night, a 20 as well.

Got a RADAR last night in my 'pressed' bills… 1901091. Poor condition, so I sent it on it's way.

Had another cute one that was oh-so-close: 7767777

What's so special about Radar bills? I don't understand!!

They are somewhat rare..

Almost got one tonight… 318*831. I was so excited…it would have been my first (that I was aware of).

Actually, the technical term for a word spelt the same forwards and backwards is a palindrome. Did anyone know the longest palindromic sentence in the English language is "Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog"? (Maybe I should have asked "Does anyone care?" instead…)

That's pretty interesting, but I can't imagine a situation where I would tell someone to hang a salami and then go on to admit that I'm a lasagna hog!

Maybe if they wanted a lot of salami in their lasagna, because it's their favorite food, and were telling the chef to get it ready…(I got nothing here!!!:))
I'd be interested to know what the longer one was. The lasagna one's the longest one I know of…
