Radar Bill

I entered a Radar bill today, a five. HNA70***07. Do people collect these or is there some other significance to them??

For security purposes, do not enter complete serial numbers here.

That should HNA70**07. (We don't know why dr uses 4 asterisks to replace 3 numerals!)

yah, if some one knew the serial of your bill…who know what could happen!

Some people collect them, but they aren't really worth more than face value unless they are in excellent condition..

I changed the * to *. LOL. probably because it is actually illegal to write on bills?? defacing money and all that stuff, although I have seen banks write on them. the top one will say how many in a stack etc.

The Bank of Canada stated that although it frowns upon the practice of writing on notes, it is definitely not illegal.

No antics the reason we do not post the serial number is because it may generate false hits and we could be accused of cheating and we don't want that..Do we now ????

how would someone cheat? If they used the number would I not get the hit??
I actually ran out of money to list. unless, i of course take my float from the till and traded it at the bank. but they would probably not like that too much. trading 5's for 5's. people just keep using their cards and not giving me cash! darn!

If they entered the number but didn't actually have the bill in their possession at some point in time that would cheating…
To bad people don't give you cash. You could trade money with your customers so they could spread your marked bills around..And if they gave you large bills you could trade those in at the bank for small bills etc…

Antic: do you offer cash on debit? This will get cash moving through your till if enough people do it.

I dont have a debit machine. I am too seasonal and they wont let me have it for only the tourist season. I have the antiques store in Lebret and July and August are the only really really busy monthes. The other two warmer ones are not bad but winter is dead. I sell off my website and Ebay during the winter so cash is not something I see too much of then.
