i marked a $10 bill at work today with the prefix "BVE" but did not realize that this may have been a new prefix (mostly because the bill looked pretty old and worn out) so i did not check for the series. is it possible to get it added to the database without knowing the series? or will i be waiting until someone else comes across this prefix too?
There are no other BV prefixes in the database yet so someone else will need to find that prefix in the wild or find out the series some other way. Sorry.

hmmmm… well, i suppose i should have noticed that i'd never seen that prefix before (i usually do notice). i'll just hold onto the number for awhile and hope that someone else comes across it too.
